Inside 24 hours a 50% cancellation fee applies (50% of the service price), and a no-show costs at most the same: the deposit or prepayment counts toward it, the rest is charged to the card on file, and anything prepaid above it is refunded. No refunds for services already done; a 3-day grace period for touch-ups.
- One discount per visit: new-client specials, 20% off a first hair visit, the $10 new-client discount, vouchers and promotions can't be combined. You can use a different special on another visit. The multi-service bundle discount is separate: each service gets at most one discount, so a service with a special or the 20% doesn't also get the bundle discount (the client gets the better one).

- Q: Aftercare basics
  A: Keep your lashes dry for the first 24 hours. Skip oil-based makeup removers and mascara on the extensions. Brush them gently each day with a clean spoolie, and try not to rub or pull at them.
- Q: What happens if I miss my appointment?
  A: Please cancel or reschedule ahead if you can't make it. A no-show costs 50% of the service price. Your deposit or prepayment counts toward it, the rest is charged to your card on file, and anything you prepaid above that is refunded.

### PMU FAQ

- Q: What should I expect during PMU healing?
  A: Immediately after treatment, pigment can appear darker while a light or heavy scab forms. Over 7 to 14 days, flaking occurs and color softens as skin recovers. Final healed tone settles over about six weeks.
- Q: Is permanent makeup safe?
  A: When performed by certified artists in a sterile setting, PMU is generally considered safe. A consultation is still essential to review skin history, medications, and suitability.
- Q: How long do PMU results last?
  A: Most PMU services last 1 to 3 years, depending on treatment type, skin profile, sun exposure, lifestyle, and aftercare consistency.
- Q: How often should touch-ups be done?
  A: Touch-ups are typically recommended every 1 to 3 years. Initial appointments include a planned touch-up window to refine healed pigment and symmetry.
- Q: Who should postpone PMU treatment?
  A: Clients under 18, those currently pregnant/breastfeeding, or anyone with active illness, severe irritation in treatment areas, or contraindicating medical conditions should postpone and consult first.

### Academy FAQ

- Q: Who is the academy for?
  A: Working artists who want their next certification, and aspiring artists who haven't held a tweezer yet. The Self-Taught course assumes nothing. Mentorship and the Internship assume serious intent and, for the Internship, physical presence in Las Vegas.
- Q: How long does each course take?
  A: Self-paced. Most artists finish the four-program self-taught path in eight to twelve weeks at one to two lessons per week, with mannequin practice between. The internship is a fixed 160 hours of floor time on top of the lessons.
- Q: What hardware or kit do I need?
  A: A laptop or iPad for the lessons, a quiet practice space, and the JLon kit (included with self-taught, mentorship, and internship). Kit ships within seven days of enrolment from our Las Vegas warehouse.
- Q: What's the return policy?
  A: Fourteen days, no questions, before you start Lesson 03. After Lesson 03, the kit is yours and tuition is non-refundable, but we don't lock you out. You finish on your timeline.
- Q: Is the certification recognised?
  A: Recognised by the salons that hire from our /artists list, and by Nevada State licensing as continuing education. Outside Nevada, recognition varies by state. We help you assemble paperwork.
- Q: Can I take this from outside the United States?
  A: The lesson content, yes: students in twenty-three countries to date. The Internship is Las Vegas only because the supervised hours are physical hours at the salon.
- Q: Does AI authoring mean lower quality?
  A: Marlow narrates. The masters write the rubrics, decide the curriculum, grade the certifications, and review every set personally. AI is the voice. Humans are the judgement. We are explicit about which is which.
- Q: What makes JLon different from other lash schools?
  A: We are a working salon first. Every technique decision in the curriculum has a retention number behind it from real client work. We don't teach methods that haven't held up at the two-week checkpoint.
